ABOUT THE

SCHOOLPLUS SHARED  LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE

The

SchoolPLUS Shared Leadership Institute was formed in December 2004 when over 100 individuals from a wide range of sectors  came together to support advancing the development of

SchoolPLUS leadership skills in the areas of Pre-Service training, In-Service training and Community and Youth Leadership development. 

The

SchoolPLUS Shared Leadership Institute is coordinated and supported by the

SchoolPLUS Research Consortium, consisting of the:


The term "institute" was chosen to reflect a focus on learning that would assist

SchoolPLUS members in developing the knowledge and skills to function in

SchoolPLUS environments.  The Institute was established with a three-year charter and the intent of being more than a network for information dissemination.
