Mandate of the Educational Relations Board
The Educational Relations Board is established pursuant to s.241 of The Education Act, 1995. The primary duties and responsibilities of the Board are to:
The Educational Relations Board is composed of two persons nominated by the Saskatchewan Teachers' Federation and two persons nominated by the Saskatchewan School Boards Association. These four representatives nominate a fifth person as the chairperson. The nominees are appointed by the Lieutenant Governor in Council.
The current membership of the Educational Relations Board is:
• Beth Bilson, Q.C. – Chairperson (term expires May 15, 2017)
The Board meets on a scheduled basis approximately four times a year. It also holds special meetings as required.
