Procedures for Appealing Your Salary Classification

Teachers in Saskatchewan have the right to appeal classification decisions made by their employing school board to the Teacher Classification Board. The Teacher Classification Board is comprised of representatives from the Saskatchewan Teachers' Federation, the Saskatchewan School Boards Association, and the Ministry of Education.

The Teacher Classification Board acts as the final authority in determining the level and date of classification. Decisions of the board are binding on the teacher and on the employing board of education.
