Education Finance & Facilities

The Education Finance and Facilities Branch will provide responsible, accountable and equitable management of the PreK-12 financing system and capital funding for school facilities.  This includes:

• sound financial management and control of PreK-12 provincial education funding
• enhanced reporting standards and better public understanding of school division finances and operations;
• development of an equitable and transparent funding system that supports student achievement; and,
• management of all capital infrastructure including school and child care, and geo-spatial business functions for the ministry, including the corporate geographic information system..
